Notifications associated with reservations are triggered by events surrounding those reservations. Dashboard users can pair Message Templates with any trigger to send to various recipient(s) through the Bookable settings.
- Configuration > Bookables
- Click the edit pencil on a Bookable > scroll to the bottom and click “Add Option”
- Open “Notifications” > select either Email or SMS
- Select your desired Template > Select the Trigger > Add recipient(s) > Save
- Save the Bookable

Cancellation | Sent when a reservation is cancelled by either a customer or dashboard user. |
Check-In | Sent when a dashboard user checks in a reservation in the dashboard. |
Check-Out | Sent when a dashboard user checks out a reservation in the dashboard. |
First Reminder | Sent a certain amount, as specified by a dashboard user, before the start time of a reservation. |
In Progress | Sent when a reservation is made in the dashboard with no date or time. |
Missed | Sent when a dashboard user marks the reservation as ‘no show’ in the dashboard. |
New Reservation | Sent when a new reservation is booked. |
Rejection | Sent when a dashboard user rejects an admin approval reservation in the dashboard. |
Reschedule | Sent when a reservation is rescheduled by either a customer or dashboard user. |
Second Reminder | Sent a certain amount, as specified by a dashboard user, before the start time of a reservation. |
TimeslotOpen | Sent when a reservation with conflicting waitlisted reservations is cancelled or rescheduled. |
WaitlistAccept | Sent when a customer user clicks the ‘accept waitlist offer’ button on the booking site. |
WaitlistApproval | Sent when a dashbaord user clicks to immediately approve a waitlist request without customer reaffirmation. |
WaitlistBooking | Sent when a new waitlist reservation is created through the booking site. |
WaitlistCancellation | Sent when an dashboard user cancels a reservation in waitlisted status. |
WaitlistOffer | Sent when a dashboard user clicks the ‘waitlist offer’ button on the dashboard reservations list. |
